Distanceitis
Distanceitis : Psychological condition where the brain is frozen at snapshot from last vist to homeland.
Symptoms : Expectations that the persons we are interacting with are exactly as we last saw them, and that their opinions, feelings thoughts are all eXactly in the same frame as we last left them.
Diagnosis: That inner smile or shrug with disdain from the the other person when you talk to them, or relate that was once a favorite joke or saying which does not elicit the same reaction as before and awaited.
Remedy : Need for an open mind to accept that mind evolves with time. As much as your brain and thoughts evolve so does rest of the world.

Rajesh, you are so right with your remedy. Too often we think the world stands still especially when we’ve been away from home for a long time.
