No fuss, No oil Healthy Snack!

When I am not really in the mood to do anything big, snacks like these come in handy. This is very healthy as it has absolutely no oil. Throw in all the ingredients below for a nice evening snack or any time of the day!
Garbanzo beans – 1 cup (dry)
Red Onion – 1/2 cup diced
Tomatoes – 1 finely chopped
Carrots grated – 1/4 cup
Juice of 1/2 a lime or however sour you like it
Green chilly – 1 chopped
Cilantro for garnish
Salt & pepper to taste
If you have raw mango, chop a few pieces and throw that in too. 
Yupe, this is my favorite eat too.
Allow me to share one of my fav side dish. Mix Yogurt with finely chopped raw spinach leaves. Stir it with salt to taste. That’s it. You got Spinach yogurt mix ready to eat. Very healthy tooo.

Finally a dish that I know what all the ingredients are! And they are all in my kitchen. Just to clarify (one would think I can’t ccok at all, and actually what I know I cook very well.) when you say the beans are “dry” you mean drain the liquid, not “dry, uncooked” ones right?

I just discovered your blog. You have a lot of great recipes! I came up with a fusion recipe last week, myself. I had some left over items in my fridge so I came up with a fusion meal – Mexican style green enchiladas, only I filled them with cauliflower and paneer (the cauliflower was sauteed in a little butter with garlic, onion, green chilis and green bell pepper). They were better than the usual chicken filled enchiladas.
